Al Watts has over twenty years of
experience as an independent consultant helping leaders and organizations
succeed by aligning people, systems and strategy. He is particularly
skilled working at al levels of organizations to define strategic
requirements, identifying barriers to achieving goals, and helping boards,
executive teams and diverse stakeholders craft shared commitments. He
facilitates experiences for groups that range from teams of two to over a
hundred participants to establish common ground, agree on direction and

Before his consulting career, Al served ten years in private industry,
with responsibilities that included managing training and development,
general employee relations and professional level recruitment. His
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Psychology, Communication) is from the
University of Minnesota, and he completed graduate coursework in
Organization Development at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He
served as President of the American Society for Training and Development
in Minnesota, charter President of the Minnesota HR Executive Forum,
adjunct instructor at the college level and board member for several
community organizations.
